On September 24, 2012 was the Green Bay Packer Game verse the
Seattle Seahawk’s, which the Packers lost the game to horrible call made by
refs that replaced the NFL refs due to them being on a strike. David Maraniss
from the Washington Post wrote “Winning actually isn’t the only thing.”
Maraniss is a Packer fan and also roots for the Wisconsin Badgers; he was in
uter disbeif that the Packers had lost the game. The final play of the game
with time expired the replacement referee had to make the decision to call a
touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks, which caused the Packers and their fans to
be upset with the final decision.
Personally I agree with Maraniss. The next day after the game
was played and the touchdown still stood I re-watched the final play of the
game while I was bartending on ESPN. Everyone was talking about how it
shouldn’t of been a touchdown and the replacement referees need to be gone and
have our old NFL referees off strike. You can go ask anyone about that game and
everyone who is a packer fan will say that it wasn’t a touchdown. I would be ashamed if I was a Seattle
Seahawks player or a fan because there
is no accurate evidence that It was a touchdown or not . I will still stand
that it was not touchdown because I am a Packer fan and born and raised in
Wisconsin.
I would agree with you. That was a horrible call on the refs part. I too would be ashamed if I was a Seattle Seahawks player or fan because they knew it was bad call but they acted like they deserved it. The Seahawks did not even try to see it another way. They won and that is all that matters to them.
